On Feb 15th, 2026, between the hours of 10:00-8:00 (approximately) and 11:30-8:00 (approximately), Momen’s domain renewal suffered a problem and was inaccessible during that time. The problem is now fully remedied. We are still investigating the extent of the impact and will let you know as soon as we gather more information and update this thread.
We sincerely apologize for this incident. We know, as a platform on which our users build their product, reliability is paramount.
As far as we can tell, the downtime started affecting users starting 10:00 UTC-8, and ended on 11:31 UTC-8.
During that period, momen’s website, editor, runtime backend (where end users rely on fetching data) all gradually became inaccessible. The gradual failure is due to nature of DNS caching, which means after our domain got revoked, it took a while to propagate through the world.
We still saw occassional successful access to our servers, approximiately a few hundred requests, on around 10:30 UTC-8, which we cannot explain at the moment.
We understand the gravity of this error. We have taken measures to prevent such incidents from happening, including but not limited to renewing our domain for 8 years (the max godaddy allows us to).
