What exactly counts towards "data outflow"?

I’m kinda confused as to what exactly counts towards data outflow. Does that include loading page content? If a page is 2MB and I get 1000 page views in a day, does that mean there was ~2GB on that single day? Or is the data outflow only for data leaving the backend?

48GB of traffic for $85 seems too low. I’m getting 20TB for a VPS for like $15 for comparison. Am I missing something?

Also when purchasing “Outflow Bandwidth” for $35/year, does that mean you get an extra 500GB per month every month, or just 500GB distributed along the course of the year.

For 85 a month you do get 48 GB of data outflow and it does include all the content of the page and the images on the page.
That $35 a year really means the extra outflow that you purchase will expire in one year’s time so you are paying $35 for 500 GB in total.
